How I love my coat of many colours! *sings* *murders spellcheck* I will have my australian spelling of colour and you can't make me change it!

So, tonight I was Joseph in Joseph and his Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat! Which was great fun, and I managed to overcome my stage fright before I even got onto stage so yays! Although granted the audience was only forty or so people... but that doesn't matter okei? o__O

I'm doing it again on Thursday, which will be good, so yeah...

I'd post photos, but they all have other people in them, and I dunno if they'd want their photos on teh interwebs. 

And now I'm listening to the Jason Donovan version - which slightly undermines my performance... but not really though. My only regret is that we didn't do Potiphar and a few other songs of awesome :0 And, you know, that I can't sing like a man, but that's never going to happen, so there's no use hoping is there.... My hair was evil though. Uber evil. I nearly ate it during Close Every Door, and it wouldn't get out of my face after that :P

I can't believe we didn't do Go Go Go Joseph. I've never liked it all that much myself, but.... everyone else seems to love it?

I was congratulated by several not family members, so yay.... and that's all.... give me my coloured coat and I'll go away :P

 Well, it's December, and though it took me three days to realize that, I'm starting to feel slightly Christmas-y. Only 21 days till Doctor Who christmas special, presents, and an excuse - nay, obligation - to write cheesy fluffy fanfics involving various characters eating turkey and having snowball fights. Neither of which I've ever done. It pains me, it really does. I did go to Denmark for Christmas though. That was great. New Year was better though, as I recall. There were fireworks exploding out of every single garden O.o Not ours though, ours died. But we did get good ones for Guy Fawkes night.... I don't know why they celebrate Guy Fawkes night in Denmark, he didn't affect Denmark at all that I know of.... anyway, what was important was that we had some of the coolest fireworks in Stinesminde, which doesn't say much because there can't have been even 100 people living in the place.... but I don't really know about that...

I took out the DVD which has everything important off my old computer on it, because my old computer is dying/dead/alive but just doesn't know it yet, and found this endless pile of writing I did when I was 11 or 12 for these two novels I was writing back then... and the writing's surprisingly good. I wrote so much then, I guess I'm out of practice. I mean, some of the ideas are a bit cliched, but essentially they're good, and the dialogue is unrealistic, but it's better than what I write now. The characters are borderline Mary Sues - well, Gary Stus mostly - because I couldn't bear to give them any flaws... whereas now I prefer to make characters twisted. Although if you make a character ridiculously twisted then that can be bad as well. I notice I liked to have characters that were locked up somewhere getting beaten up or tortured or something of the sort... that's... worrying. I also notice that I was particularly bad at writing what JD (of Scrubs) would term "smack talk" :D Yeah.... real bad at that.

I also used to write poetry a lot... but luckily I was more interested in being amusing than deep or soulful, so nothing embarrassing there... actually I'm slightly envious of myself. More than a little in fact....*skips off to read more old writing*
